By the end of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Understand the structure and requirements of Module C, including the reading comprehension section (70 points) and the writing task (30 points) for both 3- and 4-point Bagrut levels.
2. Identify main ideas and supporting details in Module C reading texts, and recognize paragraph structure, topic sentences, and key information.
3. Apply reading strategies such as scanning, skimming, using context clues, highlighting, and eliminating distractors in multiple-choice questions.
4. Answer Module C question types effectively, including multiple choice, complete-the-sentence, and short open-ended questions.
5. Use vocabulary from Bands II and III that commonly appears in reading comprehension texts and writing tasks, and apply it accurately in context.
6. Write clear and organized paragraphs for both the description composition and the opinion composition (70–90 words), following the 5-stage writing process.
7. Use linking words and connectors (e.g., first, then, because, for example, in addition, finally) to create smooth, logical writing appropriate for Module C.
8. Improve dictionary skills, including choosing the correct meaning, understanding word forms, and avoiding common mistakes with vocabulary selection.
9. Build exam confidence and time-management strategies, such as deciding how long to spend on each section and how to check answers effectively.
